I think I found the quintessential summer dress! Believe it or not, it’s from Old Navy, and so affordable. This bold color is super fun, and I love how it moves. I’m wearing my regular size and it has space for the bump. Also, love these gold bow sandals, but I will say they were a little treacherous when it was raining!
This is what I wore to dinner last weekend when we were on our little staycation. I really wanted to have a nice dinner since I’m not sure when we’ll have that chance again. But, it’s a little difficult for me to eat out right now because of the gestational diabetes. I’ve always wanted to eat at Nomo Kitchen at the beautiful Nomo Soho Hotel, and fortunately, they have a great menu with a lot of options. I started with the Crispy Cauliflower Steaks and then the Seared Salmon. Rob started with the Charred Octopus and had the Saffron Fusilli Pasta as his entree. Everything was so good, and I was very excited that they had mocktails too.
In terms of pregnancy, I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and at the point where I’m uncomfortable all of the time. It feels like my stomach is constantly stretched to its limits and there’s a lot of pressure inside. I totally understand why pregnant women say they’re ready to be done being pregnant towards the end…even if they’re not quite ready to be a mom. I’m going to the doctor twice a week to check on baby boy, and all is well. We’ll see when he decides to make his appearance, but I feel like we’re as practically prepared as we can be…and that helps with the emotional side. Thank you for following along on this journey!
