On Saturday night, we went to Queens to see Paul Simon’s last show. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of his, but my husband and a few of our friends really wanted to go, so I said why not. The show itself was great, and Paul is still super talented. Unfortunately, I don’t think the venue was prepared for the crowd, and we ended up spending more than half of our time in line for food…which wasn’t that great when we finally ate it.
Regardless, it was still a good time, and fun to be there for his last show. As I was getting ready, I realized I had no idea what to wear to an outdoor concert. I knew I wanted to wear jeans, and then I figured I would layer so I would be prepared for cooler temperatures later in the night. This cardigan was something I picked up during the last Nordstrom sale, and it’s been my go-to for flights too. Also, these jeans are the Gap Sculpt pair I mention in my Curvy Jeans guide! (I have them in gray too.)
We took these pictures while we were walking Bones before we left. We ran into our friend and neighbor Marissa and her dog Wrangler, who is one of Bones’ besties. The two dogs were so excited to see each other, and people were stopping on the sidewalk to watch them play. No one can resist two happy pups!
