On Saturday, we went to New Jersey for our last wedding of the year. It was a marathon, with both Hindu and Jewish ceremonies, but we had so much fun! The groom went to law school with my husband for a year before he decided to pursue a career as a sports reporter. It was a true testament to their friendship that almost a full table of law school grads (and a couple of +1s) showed up for his special day.
When I had the honor of attending Monique Lhullier’s runway show last year, I fell in love with her collection. I knew I would never be able to afford her gorgeous gowns, but when I saw this beautiful lace dress at the Gilt City Warehouse Sale, I had to try it on. It’s from her ML collection and started at $598. I paid less than $100, and although it’s more form-fitting than I would normally go, the layered pink lace helped camouflage where I needed it. I rounded up some more lace options below for your next go as a wedding guest.
