Earlier this week, I stopped in at the Rent the Runway sample sale. While this is usually one of my favorite sales of the year, I was actually a little underwhelmed. They had a lot fewer dresses and a lot more other clothing, but that actually turned out to be a positive because the one thing I came away with was this gold tunic sweater with the most amazing sleeves. It’s Elizabeth & James, and although the original price was $345, I got mine (in like-new condition) for $40…such a win! I love Elizabeth & James (I mean, come on, Olsen twins!), but could never justify the prices, so I was really excited about this find. (PS I found it on sale for you!) Also, the fact that this sweater is totally chic made it possible for me to wear leggings to work. Since I’m still fighting a cough, I was all about an outfit that made me look put together even though I was still super comfortable. My office is fairly casual, so I could get away with mules, simple jewelry and a topknot, but this look would work with heels and a blowout too.
We’re finally getting some spring weather in NYC this weekend, so I’m excited to spend time outside and enjoy! I’ve been doing a lot of shopping lately, so get ready for some fabulous warm weather outfits in the weeks to come!
