Sweaters and black pants are one of my go-to work outfits for the fall and winter. But, sometimes I want to get a little more creative. One easy way is to wear a fun pair of shoes, like these metallic oxfords. I have a similar pair that has been around for years, and I realized it was finally time to replace them. Thankfully, I found these and I’m obsessed! Another way is adding a vest. It’s just one additional layer, but it makes such a difference. This vest is more structured, with a bit of a menswear vibe. I also love my longer, mixed media vest which pairs well with dresses too.
My friend Kristin snapped these pictures earlier this week when we needed a break from our computers. This block is called Washington Mews, and it’s mostly closed to traffic. The houses are all gorgeous and they always have tons of greenery and flowers. It’s a nice little escape from the busy city! Hope you had a fun Halloween and that the end of the week is easy!
