As temperatures cool down, it’s time take a look at your closet and start transitioning to Fall. You can do this in steps, like styling sleeveless dresses with a leather jacket and booties, or layering with a blazer. This is an old dress from the Who What Wear Collection at Target, but the slip dress silhouette is all over the place for the upcoming season! I decided to make it a little more flattering to my curves by swapping out the matching fabric belt for a more structured one. I also love that I’m wearing almost all black, but there are so many textures and patterns, from my headband to that fabulous leopard calf hair bag! It makes a neutral outfit much more interesting.
We had a pretty low-key weekend, which I really appreciated after feeling like we were constantly on the go for the last month or so. I love traveling, but it’s also really important for me to be home and recharge. I went through a lot of my clothes, and re-organized my jewelry, small things that will help me feel less overwhelmed on a daily basis. I’ve realized that part of managing my anxiety is figuring out the triggers that I can control. Quite often, they’re things that may seem silly or insignificant, but they can snowball quickly when anxiety is high. It’s a lot easier to ignore the little things, but so much better to acknowledge your own feelings and do what you need to do to feel better. Anyway, more outfit photos below. Happy Monday!
