5 Beauty Products Worth the Hype

There are so many beauty and hair products out there, and it’s hard to know which ones to choose. Like many bloggers, I’ve tried A LOT of them, but these are five beauty products worth the hype! This post isn’t sponsored, just my honest opinion on some of my favorites.

IT Cosmetics x Drybar Lash Blowout Mascara: This is a collaboration between two powerhouse brands! I’m already a fan of IT’s CC Cream, and who doesn’t love treating themself to a Drybar blowout?! They did a major rollout with influencers on social media, so I felt like I was seeing this mascara everywhere when it was first released. During Sephora’s Summer Beauty Event, I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you…it’s amazing! I’ve tried A LOT of mascaras, and this one lifts and defines like no other. I don’t know what magic they put in there, but it works!

Pantene Never Tell Dry Shampoo: Another product I discovered through an influencer campaign! Pantene has been part of my hair routine on and off for years, but I had never tried their dry shampoo. But, when Lauren posted about how great this one was for fine hair, I was intrigued. Dry shampoo is another thing that I’ve sampled from a number of different brands, but unlike mascara, I haven’t really found one that I loved. This was the first one that actually looked like it made my hair clean! (And it’s under $10!)

TATCHA The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream: If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already heard me rave about this eye cream. I got a complimentary sample from Influenster, but I will definitely be buying it again whenever it runs out. This is the first eye cream that has made a major, noticeable difference in the dark circles under my eyes. True to its name, it literally melts into your skin. A little goes a long way, so even though it’s a little pricier, it will last a while.

Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Concealer: I tried the Shape Tape Foundation when it first came out and didn’t love it, so I think I assumed I would feel the same way about the concealer. Boy, was I wrong! I ordered it when Tarte had a sale, and it came with a mini sponge for application (like the set linked here). The combination has been perfect for me, and I’ve been using it daily.

Summer Fridays Jet Leg Mask: This mask is super popular on social, and that reputation is totally deserved! I bring it with me every time I travel, and apply it on the plane to make sure my skin stays hydrated. You can also wear it overnight when you need a refresh. It’s rich, but not heavy, and it leaves your skin dewy and glowing. It also comes in a mini size, if you want to give it a try without fully committing.
