The last time I wore this slip dress was on my birthday in late August. I’ve been seeing a lot of creative layering in magazines and on other blogs, but I wasn’t sure if I was quite cool enough to pull off the long sleeve tee under a slip dress look! I love the dress though and I didn’t want it to be stuck in one season, so I gave it a try, adding in lacy floral tights and a pop of color with suede booties. Definitely a great way to make your spring and summer dresses more versatile!
This was also the first time I’ve straightened my hair in a while, and it’s gotten so long! For a while, I kept buying straighteners that were good, but not great, and then I finally got a Chi and I don’t think I’ll ever go back! I was admiring my friend Cait’s gorgeous hair in all of her posts, and clicked on the link for her straightener. It was on sale, and I didn’t hesitate. Such a good decision! I’m honestly kind of lazy with my hair, and more often than not, I’ll wear it curly because it’s easier. But, I love how it looks straight, and this straightener definitely takes a lot of the stress out of the process.
