Last week, I was honored to be invited to a special event hosted by Samsung. The electronics and appliance brand turned an empty building in Soho into a warm and inviting home environment, and invited members of the press to get a first look. Samsung enlisted the design expertise of Hilary Farr from HGTV’s Love It or List It, and created a beautiful space!
They also announced an exciting new collaboration called the Club des Chefs. Five celebrated chefs are working with Samsung on their newest collection of kitchen appliances. Their goal is to embrace the idea of the kitchen as the center of the home, and transition appliances from functional things you need to beautifully designed products you want.
The event was called a Housewarming Party and was complete with drinks and fantastic food, created by the chefs themselves.
I have to admit that the most exciting part of the night for me was meeting Hilary. Bonus: she was wearing some fantastic flats!
