I don’t know about you, but I’ve been embracing sweater weather this winter! Although I often turn to the chunky knits for optimal coziness, a lightweight turtleneck is also a great staple to have in your wardrobe. This one is from Naadam, a cashmere brand that I’ve been seeing all over social media. (My four-legged friends love their sweaters too!) I resisted the draw until they had a sale, but I can honestly say that this one is worth full price. It’s lightweight, as promised, but still keeps you warm. It’s made of a combination of silk and cashmere, and so soft. As you can tell, the lightness means it doesn’t hide much, but I’m totally fine in my pre-pregnancy size with a cami underneath.
One of the best blessings of pregnancy has been sharing this journey with my best friend Elena. She’s due next month, so she’s been a great resource and comfort for me. It’s been fun to compare notes and check in on each other. We live close by and have been able to safely spend some time together in person, including this weekend for some low-key celebrations. We unintentionally wore nearly identical outfits, which is pretty typical. We’ve “only” known Elena and her husband Andrew for about nine years, but we can’t imagine our lives without them. I can’t wait to see them as parents! Making friends as an adult can be hard, but it’s so worth the effort.
