This half-zip sweater and turtleneck combo is something I feel like I may have worn as a kid. But, this is the grown-up version, and I’m all for cozy layers. I’m wearing my favorite maternity jeans again, but everything else is non-maternity. I wore this outfit for a very exciting excursion: taking Bones to his annual check up at the vet! Our vet’s office has never been less than 20 blocks from us, but we’ve been going there since we got him and it’s worth it. We can’t go in with him right now because of Covid, which is really difficult for all of us. But, fortunately he had a clean bill of health and got all of his shots.
Speaking of health, I had an extra test for baby boy this week as a precaution. My appointment was supposed to be Monday morning, but was postponed until Tuesday afternoon because of the snow. We didn’t hear results until 5 pm on Wednesday, so needless to say, it’s been an anxiety-filled week. But, fortunately everything came back normal. We are so relieved and grateful that he’s okay, and hoping for a healthy second half of pregnancy.
