While I love all of the photos Kathleen and I shot in Conservatory Garden (look one, look two), these might be my favorite. This outfit is so me, and I’m obsessed with this houndstooth cardigan! I ordered it during the last Nordstrom sale after Kim shared it. I love that it’s warm and cozy, but the texture makes it more blazer-like and perfectly chic. Maybe it’s living on the Upper East Side, but I am always here for some Gossip Girl vibes. So, I thought a pearl headband and jewelry (with a little edge) would be an excellent compliment to this look.
This weekend was one for the books…literally! After a stressful four days of waiting, the results of the presidential election were finally revealed. There’s been a lot of conversation about bloggers and influencers sharing or not sharing their thoughts about voting and politics. Some people lost followers when they spoke their minds. I fortunately did not, but if I had, that would be okay with me. As I shared on Instagram on Saturday after I heard the news: “Our country is broken and there is a lot of work to be done. But today, I’m just so excited that someone smart and open-minded with a good heart and soul (and dogs!) will be leading our country again!!”
