Sometimes I dream up an outfit in my head, and then I search for the pieces to make it happen. For example, I really liked the idea of wearing a black turtleneck under a neutral-colored sleeveless dress. To be completely honest, I changed into this outfit in a pop-up tent without a mirror, and my slip ended up under my bodysuit…but I think it still looks great! This type of curve-hugging dress is a little outside my comfort zone, especially lately when my approach has been the flowier the better. But, if you scroll down, you’ll see I was feeling pretty sassy! (I decided not to edit out the slip lines because that’s real life!)
This has been quite the overwhelming week and I hope you’re doing okay. I’ve been pretty anxious, but I’m trying to remain hopeful. No matter how the election turns out, I hope that we can somehow find a way to make this country a place of tolerance, acceptance and love.
