I’m going to let you in on a little secret…one of my dream jobs is to be a consultant who helps people select gifts for their friends and family. I absolutely love finding the perfect gift, and I even wrote a column about gift-giving for a couple of months when I was unemployed and job hunting. Needless to say, I am super excited for my first holiday season as a style blogger! My plan is to post gift guides once a week through Christmas. A personalized gift is a great way to go the extra mile and show you care. Sure, all gifts should be “personalized” to a certain extent, and if you really know the recipient you can tailor their gifts to their interests. OMG I am the same way about gifts!! I keep a list on both my work and home computers with gift ideas all year, so if I think of something I can immediately capture it! I actually planned on getting my mom that wine tote – how perfect is that?! I found your blog via What I Wore! P.S. What plugin/tool do you use for this post? I love how I hover over each item and it tells me the price!
Love to find a kindred spirit! It’s funny you ask about the tool…I was actually in the middle of switching from that to a graphic as you were commenting. The widget comes from the RewardStyle network (let me know if you need an invite). I like it a lot, especially for social sharing, but it’s a little more difficult to share without an image.
