Cute cargo pants do exist! I know some people aren’t too happy that this trend from our teenage years came back, but I’m here to say give it a chance. I tried a similar style of pants once before, but this white denim pair is my favorite. Are they the most flattering pants I own, no, but that’s totally okay.
Speaking of flattering, you know I’m a proponent of crop tops for everyone. But, if I’m being honest, I felt self conscious in this one. It’s such a bright color, and was more form-fitting than I thought it would be. The pants are a lower rise than I’ve been gravitating towards, and when I got the proofs for this shoot, some angles were definitely better than others. But you know what? The “better” angles are damn good, and I’m proud of how this outfit came together. I’ve been following more curvy creators on social media, beautiful women who really embrace their bodies, and it’s been a great reminder of why I started this blog in the first place.
Anyway, life has been a little crazy lately. Last week, we hosted family for a Passover Seder. No matter how many people you have, it’s a lot of work, and I’m so grateful that my mom came in a day early to help me cook and prep. The morning after hosting, we drove out to Long Island, and Rob, Seth and I went to my dad’s that night. The next morning, we headed back home. It was a lot, but it was so nice to be together. This week is much quieter, but I am going to a very exciting event tonight. Can’t wait to share!
