Sephora Products Worth Buying

The latest Sephora sale starts today, and I know it can be overwhelming. I’ve shared roundups of my favorite products before, but this year I’m focusing on the Sephora products worth buying. These are the things that are part of my regular routine that I buy again and again. My all-stars, if you will. Some of them are also linked in the TikTok Beauty Trends post, but that’s just more proof that they’re worth it. There are a few newbies mixed in for honorable mention.

First, the details of the sale. You need to be a Beauty Insider to take advantage of the discount, but it’s free to join. The more you spend at Sephora each year, the higher your Insider status. Rouge level Insiders get 20% off starting today 4/14, VIB get 15% off starting 4/18, and Insiders get 10% off starting on 4/18. The sale goes through 4/24, and the Sephora Collection is 30% off the whole time.

Skincare

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I am very loyal to Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. It makes such a difference for my dry skin, even in the depths of winter, and it smells great.

I’ve been using the Tatcha Silk Peony Eye Cream for a while, and I like it. My undereyes are my most frustrating area, so I’m always tempted to try new things. I got to try the Dr. Brandt No More Baggage Eye Gel, and it worked well, but it flaked when I put makeup on top. They also sent me their wrinkle smoothing cream, which made a difference without that issue.

One of the things TikTok made me buy was the Drunk Elephant Bronzing Drops. I love the glow they give when mixed with moisturizer, and I prefer them to the Isle of Paradise drops.

Haircare

Dae’s Deep Conditioner is one of my favorite products. It smells like a tropical cocktail and feels great on your hair. I’ve tried sample sizes of some of their other products too, but I haven’t taken the plunge yet.

I’ve used a number of Briogeo products over the years, but the only one I consistently buy is the Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk. It’s a leave-in conditioner that also has a heat protectant, so you’re set whether you air dry or heat style.

I always put my hair up in an Aquis towel after I shower. It absorbs moisture quickly without damaging your hair and cuts down on drying time. But, they seem to have a new version that I haven’t tried yet.

I am always on a quest for curly hair styling products, and I’ve tried quite a few. I got the mini size of the Dae Hibiscus Wave Spray recently and I like it so far.

Makeup

This category is the longest, but I’m very happy with my makeup routine right now, and that’s saying a lot. I’m definitely not a beauty expert, so I like products that are easy to use for “regular people.”

For foundation, I’ve been wearing Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in the colder months, and Double Wear Sheer Long-Wear Makeup in the warmer months. If you’re looking for a tinted moisturizer, IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream is my favorite. I apply these with a Beauty Blender.

Concealer is another thing that I’ve tried a million of, but haven’t found one I love. Right now, I’m using the Bobbi Brown Skin Corrector Stick and the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Concealer, but I’m planning to order some other options.

The Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand is a new favorite, along with Huda Beauty Baking Powder (more on those products here). I use a Beauty Blender puff for the powder, and I will sometimes add a layer of of Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray.

Lancôme Mascara Primer and Lash Idôle Mascara are my go-tos right now, and I curl my lashes with the Shiseido curler. I use Laura Mercier Eye Shadow sticks to add a little shimmer.

Last but not least, lips! I’m totally on the Tarte Cosmetics Maracuja train for a glossier look. Merit makes a great lightweight lipstick that won’t dry out your lips.

I think that’s everything. Please let me know if you have any questions or need a recommendation. Happy shopping!
