I’ve never been a fan of “army green.” If I have to go for a color in that family, khaki is my first choice. I also can’t remember the last time I wore something with cargo pockets, but it was probably in the 90s. That said, when I saw these army green cargo pants at LOFT, all of my preconceived notions went out the window. Somehow, they created a feminine, updated version of the cargo pant, with a slimming silhouette and tapered leg. Always up for creating contrast, I opted for a sheer top and sparkly loafers. My office is on the casual side, so I was able to wear my denim jacket all day and feel more covered up, but this look would also work with a black boyfriend blazer.

I love army green and glad you crossed over and embraced it, because those pants are such a great fit on you!
