I love Hill House Nap Dresses because they’re so pretty, whimsical and comfortable. But, the Ellie style that I own in several colors honestly isn’t the most flattering fit. So, I was excited when they came out with new silhouettes and I ordered a couple to try. This one is the Ava, and I’m being honest when I say that I felt more confident the moment I put it on. That means a lot right now as I’m still struggling some with my postpartum body. I also love that I now have a black dress for spring. The poplin fabric is lighter weight for warmer weather, but the details make it more polished than something like a t-shirt dress.
Rob and I have both been fighting a little cold/cough the past week or two, so this was a low-key weekend. I just want to say, kudos to anyone who has ever taken care of someone else when they’re sick. I’m impressed we could find the energy to entertain Seth the past couple of days! We also have a lot going on behind the scenes right now, but hopefully more on that soon. Next weekend, we have some good friends coming to town, and I’m really looking forward to it!
