Recently I decided that I wanted some new boots that were waterproof, but also cute. There are too many days in the Northeast when it’s raining or snowing, and I have to sacrifice fashion for practicality. It may sound silly, but for someone who finds such joy in putting together outfits, shoes make a big difference! I started with the knee-high pair featured in this post, and then I ordered what turned out to be my most comfortable boots ever. They’re made by Clark’s, so they’re high quality and have great support. But, because I found them at DSW, they were under $100. Win-win! I love the lace up style, a more polished nod to combat boots, and they look cute with a skirt which is a must. Considering buying them in brown too!
Today, I’m on my way to Cincinnati, Ohio for a work trip. We have a weekend full of events, with the main event happening Sunday morning. The past couple of weeks have been intense, and I’m excited to see all of our hard work pay off! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t also looking forward to things calming down a bit next week. But, I’m taking it one day at a time. Thanks, as always, for reading!
