Twice a year, restaurants in NYC offer special three-course menus for a fixed price. It’s called NYC Restaurant Week, and it’s the perfect opportunity to try some new places! Earlier this week, I went out for lunch at The House in Gramercy with two of my friends from work. The food was great, and we loved the ambiance too! I was wearing what I like to think of as my winter work uniform: a sweater, stretchy pants, and boots. I often default to black pants because they go with everything, but when I found this beautiful burgundy pair, I knew they would be the perfect pop of color in my wardrobe. Next week, I have a Restaurant Week dinner and a lunch planned, so I’m definitely taking advantage!
This weekend will be a pretty quiet one…except for the Super Bowl! If you know me (or you follow me on Instagram), you know that I’m a huge New England Patriots fan. I grew up south of Boston and I’ve loved the team since I was a little kid. A lot of people hate them, and living in New York, I hear about it a lot. But, that doesn’t matter to me and I’ll be cheering loudly on Sunday. My dad, who taught me to love sports, is coming to watch with us, and we’re having a few friends over. Are you watching the game? What are you more excited for: the commercials, or JT at halftime?!
Earrings: LOFT, Sweater: J.Crew (similar without the bow, love this sweatshirt version too), Pants: LOFT, Boots: Aerosoles (similar)
I have zero Super Bowl plans & weirdly feel great about it. I always get a little overwhelmed on Super Bowl Sunday!
