Every time the J.Crew catalog arrives in my mailbox, I quickly flip through it and fold down my favorites. Sometimes I tear out the pages and hang them up as outfit inspiration, and occasionally I will go online and add something to my Currently Coveting Pinterest board. But, I almost never buy anything full price. The thing about J.Crew is that they frequently have amazing sales, and their factory store carries a great inventory that’s high quality and still maintains that polished, preppy aesthetic. J.Crew’s sample sale also happens to be one of my favorites, and I found this (long-coveted) white midi skirt at the most recent one.
It’s a little scary to wear white in New York City, especially when you take public transportation to work and don’t work in the nicest part of the city, but this skirt was too perfect for summer not to take the risk. Speaking of summer, we’ll be doing some more apartment hunting when it’s in the 90s this weekend, so send positive vibes (and ice cream!)
