Apologies for the unintentional hiatus! Work was busy and life just got in the way. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that we were in Toronto the weekend before last for our friends’ wedding. We had so much fun exploring the city and spending quality time with some of our favorite people. But, when we flew back to New York, there were weather-related delays on the ground, and our plane ended up having to turn around and go back to Toronto. Although it was frustrating, we made the most of our extra day away. Fortunately, I had this embroidered dress in my suitcase that I hadn’t had a chance to wear. It’s so easy breezy, with the prettiest details, and it has a slip built in so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through.
I wore this embroidered dress with sneakers, which was a good idea because we ended up walking a ton that day. We met the newlyweds for brunch and explored Toronto’s Distillery District, where we snapped these photos, and then headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was a beautiful day, and everything worked out, but we were still happy to be home later that night. This weekend, it was nice to be in the city, and although I’m sad that summer is coming to an end, I’m excited to celebrate my birthday on Thursday! Hope you’re enjoying the warm weather while it lasts!
