Feeling comfortable in shorts is a challenge for a lot of people, and I totally get it. But, I promise that once you find the brands that fit you the best, you can feel confident in them! Fortunately, shorts now come in a variety of different rises and lengths. For me, high-waisted shorts flatter my curves, and since I’m on the petite side, shorter pairs tend to elongate my legs. These white denim shorts are from Madewell, and I like the way they look. (My other favorite pairs are from Target’s Universal Thread line and Paige). I like to pair neutrals with color in the summer, so this lilac top was perfect. It’s a little boxier than I usually like, but because the shorts are form-fitting, it worked.
