First of all, can we have a moment for the flowers? Lauren and I caught these beautiful blooms on their last legs in Central Park and they were the perfect backdrop! Today, I want to share a very important style tip. If you find a white or light colored dress that you love, but it’s a little too sheer, don’t worry. The answer to what to wear under a white dress is a slip like this one from Jockey. Because it’s nude, it won’t be visible through the dress…but you also won’t be visible through the dress and look like you’re nude. Win-win.
Aside from last week’s big announcement, it’s been quiet around here. That’s because we got Covid. It was super frustrating to test positive after being careful for so long. But, we were grateful to get it post-vaccination, and with so much more knowledge about the effects. Rob got it first, and then me. We wore masks around Seth to try to keep him safe, but eventually he got it too. Fortunately, symptoms were relatively mild for all of us, but it was a long two weeks.
Now, we’re all doing much better and happy to be back out in the world. This weekend, we had two kids’ birthday parties, and next weekend we have Seth’s party. I can’t believe he’s almost one! So many thoughts to share on that subject, so stay tuned. Hope you’re all doing well and enjoying a fun start to summer!
