I grew up in New England where fall foliage abounds, and I can’t imagine living somewhere where I can’t watch the leaves change. Contrary to popular belief, there are trees in New York City, but I still enjoy going out to the suburbs at this time of year. So, I was happy to see lots of colors when my husband and I took a quick trip to Long Island this weekend for an early celebration of my dad’s birthday. It was the perfect occasion to wear the beautiful Shoshanna dress I picked up months ago at the Gilt City Warehouse Sale. My Mini M.A.C. was another designer item I got at a discounted price. Shopping events like Warehouse and Sample Sales are great places to satiate your desire for designer without depleting your bank account!

Ha, it is nice to see that someone has acknowledged the fact it’s actually cold and is wearing tights, lol. I see all these bloggers wearing outfits that I could never wear without freezing my butt off! Love your necklaces, I never thought to look at Charming Charlie

Love this look! Purple is a great color for fall! Love the leaves! Such a great background color! I agree, I do not think I could live somewhere without changing leaves! I would miss it too much!
