In the last weeks of August, it’s time to start thinking about fall, no matter how much we don’t want summer to end. I’m trying to reassess what’s already in my closet and see how I can transition from season to season without buying a ton of new things. This utility vest is a great transitional piece. It will be a great topper for a long sleeve shirtdress when the temperatures cool, and it also works with jeans.
I found a quiet spot in Herald Square to shoot these photos after coffee with my friend Nicole. Total rarity to not have many people in the background in Midtown, but I think a lot of people are getting out of the city while they can. I definitely won’t miss the summer crowds OR hot, smelly sidewalks and subways, but I will totally be eating meals al fresco for as long as possible.
