How many of you loved overalls as a kid? I know I did! They were comfortable and cute, and you could still wear your favorite shirt. But, even though everything seems to come back in style, I never thought overalls would come back in such a way. Not only are they trendy, but they come in so many styles. This pair is flattering…and actually a little bit sexy! I bought these after I saw a similar pair on Sarah from Sassy Red Lipstick. She is an incredible role model in the body positivity movement, and has definitely inspired me to dress to accentuate my curves. If you don’t already follow her, definitely check out her feeds!
Although I liked how Sarah dressed up her overalls, I went with a casual look for a laidback weekend afternoon. We snapped these pictures after a trip to the dog park. Bones likes to play with the big dogs, even though he’s only 20 lbs. He certainly makes his presence known (he has a tag that says Sir Barks a Lot), and he loves running around. Next weekend, we’re taking a day trip to an apple orchard (a different one than last year), and Bones is coming too. He loves apples, and it’s nice for all of us to get out of the city every once in a while!
