On Friday, I went shopping with my friend Dena to help her refresh her wardrobe for fall. I tried not to look for anything for myself, but this sleeveless turtleneck tunic caught my eye. Although I’m not usually into the turtleneck look, I thought this would be a great transition piece…and I wore it the next night for another friend’s birthday drinks at Gallow Green. I’m often hesitant to wear something long like this without belting it or otherwise cinching my waist, but the combination of side vents and form-fitting leggings seemed to do the trick. A shorter jacket is also a great way to give yourself some definition if you’re curvy like me.
