I always love a belted dress, and a subtle flare made this one perfect for my shape. The belt didn’t come with the dress, but I wanted to add more definition to my waist and a bit of shine. The print is a more colorful take on the tribal trend, and went well with my coral bow flats. Have you tried tribal?
Dress: Forever 21, Belt: Joe Fresh, Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Flats: Nine West
A note: I almost didn’t post today…I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and love that city with all my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by yesterday’s horrible tragedy. Hug your loved ones, be kind to everyone you meet, say thank you. Remember that there is good in this world.
Adorbs. I love that print, and the dress is very figure-flattering!
Thanks, Alyssa! It’s been in my closet for a while, so I was happy to finally wear it!
That dress looks fabulous on you!

Thanks so much, Alison! xo
I just bought a lightly tribal dress by Derek Lam for Kohl’s. It’s in colors I never wear – coral & peach – with a really subtle tribal pattern. I’m looking forward to wearing it to Bloggers in Sin City next month!
Sounds super cute! There are colors in this pattern that I don’t wear much, so it was a bit of an adventurous piece for me. Always good to step outside the comfort zone
I like how you paired the coral with this dress – it pulls out the brighter colors! Love, love, love.
Thanks friend! I know you have a little crush on those shoes
It’s a cruel joke that we don’t wear the same size in anything.
