TikTok Beauty Trends

I’ve been watching a lot of “get ready with me” videos on TikTok and taking notes from the makeup girlies. I like doing my makeup, but I tend to stick to my go-to products. So, watching these videos has helped push me outside of my comfort zone. I actually feel really good about my makeup routine now, so I’m excited to share what I’ve been using. There have been a lot of TikTok beauty trends, but some of the products actually live up to the hype. The next Sephora sale starts on April 14, so be sure to add these to your list.

1. Amazon Hair Clips: These no-crease clips are perfect to keep your hair out of your face while you do your makeup. They come in packs of eight for under $10.

2. Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops: I think Alix Earle was the first big creator to share these, and it’s no wonder they keep selling out. I’ve been using the Isle of Paradise drops for a while, but I actually like these better. You mix a drop with your moisturizer and it gives your skin the most beautiful glow. And, you can totally go makeup-free.

3. Lancome Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer and Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting and Volumizing Mascara: A mascara primer nourishes your lashes and maximizes mascara results. This mascara is amazing, and adds so much volume. I layer with a waterproof mascara when I want it to last all day.

4. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Liquid Contour Wand: I admit, I didn’t contour until recently. I just saw it as an extra step that I didn’t feel like doing. But, I’m a total convert! It really does help define your face shape, and it doesn’t add that much time. I tried another formula, and I didn’t love it, but this one is great.

5. HUDA Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder: Baking is a technique I knew nothing about until TikTok. You basically apply powder and then let it “bake” for 3-5 minutes. It blurs your complexion and keeps makeup in place longer.

6. Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Crème: I got a few products from this line, and I really like them all. They don’t dry out your lips, and the shades are subtle. I bought a lip liner, but I’m still not sure if it’s for me.
