Tiered Midi Skirt

This is such a fun outfit for winter! It’s actually what I wore to my last Madewell event, but I never got the chance to properly photograph it. I love the flow of a tiered midi skirt…even though midis sometimes looks like a maxi on my 5’4″ frame. The v of this sweater is super flattering, and I’m also such a fan of the contrast between something feminine with a combat boot.

Today, we are on our way to Mexico! Fingers crossed for an easy flight with Seth, and a fun long weekend. I’m really looking forward to being on the beach. I grew up in a coastal town, and the water has always brought me calm and comfort. The past eight months since I left my full-time job have been a very interesting time for me. It’s kind of like finding myself again and figuring out what I actually want to be spending my time on. Knowing more about how my brain works definitely helps, but I would be lying if I said it’s been easy to refocus my life. Anyway, hopefully a warm weather getaway will be just what I need.
