Switching to Clean Products

When I found out I was pregnant, I started thinking about lifestyle changes I needed to make. Some are easier than others, like no alcohol, but one major concern for me was the products I use on a daily basis. There’s a lot of information out there about what you should and shouldn’t use during pregnancy. Certain ingredients like retinol are a definite no. I did some research and decided that switching to clean products for hair, makeup and skincare was a good approach.

It can be difficult to know which products to choose, and I’m sure I haven’t done a perfect job. But, the truth is that women were having healthy babies long before we knew a lot of this information. So, do the best you can, but don’t drive yourself crazy. Below I’m sharing some of resources I used to research, plus what I’ve been using. By the way, even if you’re not pregnant, going clean is great for a lot of other reasons too, and worth considering.
