When it comes to dresses, I usually opt for A-line or fit and flare styles that flatter my shape. But, every once in a while, I find something more fitted that hugs my curves just right. A great sweater dress is definitely essential for fall and winter, and this one makes regular appearances in my wardrobe. In the past, I would just wear it with black or gray tights, but I decided to layer up and add some colorful tights.
My friend Zoe and I found this leafy wall outside a restaurant near our office. We were on our way to pick up cookies for my book club. Speaking of, I have to say that I am incredibly grateful for my book club ladies. It’s hard to make new friends when you’re in your 20s, especially in a big city, so becoming a part of this group of bookworms and wine lovers has truly been a gift. What started as an idea between three friends (who each invited two people to join) has become such an integral part of our lives, and coming together each month to chat and check up on each other is seriously better than therapy. Books are great for subway rides too! </end lovefest>
