For me, summer style is all about skirts and dresses. My legs are actually one of my favorite parts of my body, so I’m happy to show them off! But, cooler nights (and crazy mosquitoes) sometimes call for a lightweight pair of pants. I found this pair on sale at Ann Taylor, and decided to try them on. They have a drawstring waist, but it’s elasticized, so there’s still some definition to my waist. The leg is wider, but not so much so that my legs are drowning, and the linen-blend makes them the perfect summer weight pants. Sadly, they’re not available anymore, but I rounded up some other options below.
These pictures are from one of our nights in Maine. We met some very special family friends for dinner at their favorite spot, and it was delicious! When I’m on vacation, I take the opportunity to try new products from my seemingly endless supply of samples from Birchbox. On this trip, I used PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray in my hair, and I really liked the texture it gave my curls.
