Last week, I shared what I wore to my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at a beautiful lakeside resort in Michigan. Although I usually plan pretty far ahead for special occasions, I realized a few weeks ago that I still didn’t know what I was wearing to the wedding itself. I started to panic and stopped into quite a few stores on my way home from work. Finally, I stumbled upon this beautiful blue floral dress on the sale rack at Banana Republic. I loved the colors and the ruched detailing, and I was glad to be wearing something light and airy on a warm summer day.
The wedding ceremony was at the top of a small mountain with Lake Michigan in the background. It was absolutely gorgeous, and so fun to ride a ski lift up and down!
Since the pattern of the dress was pretty bold, I choose subtle jewelry and neutral shoes. My clutch was a sample sale find that has served me very well. It fits a ton, and if it looks overstuffed in these photos, it’s because my husband (the best man) gave me all of this things to hold while he was fulfilling his duties.
Earrings: Chloe & Isabel, Sunnies: Kate Spade via Nordstrom Rack, Necklace: Macy’s, Dress: Banana Republic (still on sale!), Sandals: Kate Spade via Poshmark (similar), Clutch: Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale (similar)
i LOVE this dress on you!
Thanks Linda!!
