There’s a beautiful waterfront area near where we stayed in Maine called Perkins Cove. It’s a cute little cluster of shops and restaurants with a breathtaking view of the water. We came down to the Cove for our first dinner of the trip, but made a point of making another trip during daylight hours. There’s something about being on the water that calms me, and it made dirty, noisy New York City seem very far away.
I wore my favorite white shorts (seen here and here) with a lightweight sweatshirt and espadrille flats. Pops of color courtesy of neon accessories were a fun touch. Clearly the positive vibes of the ocean led to a great hair day, and somehow convinced my curls to behave. After our evening stroll, we snapped some pictures with our friends and the pup. Great memories from a fantastic vacation!
