Slip dresses are so versatile, and I consider this leopard one a closet staple. I styled it with a turtleneck, and with a sweatshirt, and those were some of my favorite looks. Styling a slip dress for winter is a little trickier since they tend to be lightweight. But, really all you need is a warm sweater and a great pair of tights. When I layer sweaters or tops over dresses, I’m always conscious of where they hit me at the waist. Sometimes I will fold them under, or tuck them into a belt to create the right line. This one is cropped, and the wide band at the bottom adds definition. Also, pro tip: just because it’s called a slip dress doesn’t mean you don’t need to wear a slip under it. Learned that the hard way on this windy day!
Lauren commented on my makeup the day we shot these photos, and I’ve actually added some new products to my routine. I can’t help it…I actually enjoy the GRWM videos on TikTok, and I’ve definitely been influenced. I’m no expert, but let me know if you want me to share!
