Stripes & Sequins

My favorite thing about the holiday season is an excuse to wear extra sparkles! I’ve been searching for a sequined skirt for quite a while, and was so happy to find this one for under $40 at Joe Fresh! (They have a few great options in stores that are all totally affordable!) Because the skirt was a little on the short side (like me!), I decided to pair it with my boyfriend blazer.

Can we also talk about the gorgeous beaded bracelet I’m wearing? It was handmade by artisans in Guatemala and sent to me by the lovely ladies at Noonday Collection. Noonday is an amazing company that uses fashion and design to create economic opportunity for the vulnerable. They provide dignified jobs at living wages, no interest loans, scholarship programs, emergency assistance and long-term trade to over 1,000 artisans in ten countries. Guess what else?! Their accessories and jewelry are absolutely beautiful! Shopping that gives back…need I say more?
