On days when it starts out cool and ends up warm, layering is key. I love repurposing clothes I already have in my closet this way. It started as layering button downs under my sleeveless dresses (a la the 90s jumper look), but now I’m all about cropped tops over dresses and skirts. You’ll see another look next week, but let’s start with thinking about a great way to embrace patterns: doubling up. If you’re not into the pattern mix, try pairing similar patterns in different colors. This stripe on stripe look was perfect for work and a great way to reinvent pieces of my wardrobe.
