One of my favorite shopping accomplishments is finding things that are inexpensive or on sale that look like they’re worth a lot more. This dress was an H&M find, but I think it looks like something you could find at Banana Republic or J.Crew. There are unexpected details all over, and the black and white pattern offers almost a neutral palette. Although the last time I wore this dress was in bare legs weather, I decided to pair it with tights when the temps reached 50 earlier this week (heat wave!!). These tights are such a gorgeous deep shade, and I couldn’t resist adding one of my many Bauble Bar statement necklaces as another subtle infusion of color.

You look gorgeous, Sam! I love the black and white dress paired with the colored tights. So on trend, and you make it look classic at the same time. Love it.
Thank you SO much! Black and white + a splash of color seems to be my go-to. Glad you liked it!
Loved this outfit just as much in person as I do in the photos, though that first photo is super awesome!
Thanks, Kate! I had a little fun with photo editing
