Over the weekend, my husband and I met my mom at LaGuardia Airport and traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to celebrate my grandpa’s 95th birthday. It was great to spend time with our family and toast to our stalwart patriarch. My mom grew up in Cleveland, and we’ve been back several times in the past year for special occasions. I always love to pick up a new dress for milestone events, but I try not to break the bank. Fortunately, I found this floral frock on sale from Old Navy (it’s still on sale for under $20!). I was a little worried about the placement of the pleats, and honestly, I don’t love them, but, I couldn’t resist the beautiful print. To try to set off the awkward pleats, I added a belt from another dress.
Can we also talk about my sandals? They’re Kate Spade, but I found them on Poshmark and only paid $50 (-$20 in Posh credits)! One of my best bargains ever! I love the bow details and the low wedge.
