Smooth, Healthy Skin [GIVEAWAY]

One of my favorite things about summer is the weather, but sun and sand aren’t always so nice to our skin. So, it’s extra important to keep our skin healthy and happy! Although I’ve tried my fair share of face scrubs, body washes, lotions and creams, I never really thought about how I was applying them. When I had the chance to try two new products that promised smooth, beautiful skin, I jumped at the chance.

The Pure Complexion Facial Sponge by EcoTools is made from eco-friendly natural ingredients, including Konjac vegetable fiber from Asia. The egg-shaped sponge is available in sensitive skin and deep-cleansing options, and although it comes out of the box hard as a rock, simply adding water makes it perfectly soft and plush. All you have to do is wet the sponge, add a squirt of your favorite facial cleanser, and then scrub your face in a circular motion. Rinse away dirt, oil and makeup, and feel refreshed! I tried the sensitive skin sponge, and I loved how it made my face feel. My least favorite thing about exfoliating is when I FEEL like I’m exfoliating, so the light spongey texture was fantastic.

Although I’ve been using a loofah in the shower for as long as I can remember, I was excited to try the multi-tasking Skin Smoothing Bath Sponge from Body Benefits. While it may look like a normal loofah on one side, the other side has an almost brush-like massager. Using the two together is the perfect combination to achieve smooth, younger looking skin. The process is very similar to the facial sponge, (wet, add your favorite body wash, scrub in circles, rinse), and I was surprised by how gentle the massager felt on my skin.
