There are so many things that I wore in the 90s that I didn’t think I would wear again. Now, I know better (hello, tie dye!), and I wasn’t surprised when I kept seeing shortalls in my feed and wanted to give them a try. I ordered this pair when they were on sale at Madewell, and I thought a lot about how to style them. I didn’t want to look like my 12-year old self (even though I was already this height at that age!). So, I went with a form-fitting off-the-shoulder body suit and some funky accessories. Are shortalls the most flattering garment? Definitely not. But, they’re so fun to wear and perfect for summer!
You may have noticed that I got my hair cut and colored, and it feels so much better! I hadn’t seen my beloved stylist Jay since November, and my locks definitely needed some love. Salons have been open for a little while, but I waited until a week before we were going away just to be safe. Now I just have to decide if I’m comfortable getting my nails done before we leave. There’s one place offering outdoor manicures in my neighborhood, which sounds safer. Have you been yet? How was it? Hope your week is off to a great start!
