You know when you bring something to a store to return, and you can’t help but check out the sale rack on your way (or out of your way) to the register? One of these detours was what brought me to this shirtdress, and I’m so grateful for my wandering eyes! The shirtdress is a popular silhouette for spring, and black and white is the perfect canvas for colorful accessories. Although I could have worn this dress without the belt, I always like to define my waist. Added bonus: the sleeves roll up, so I can wear it when the weather gets warmer too. Shopping sales and choosing versatile pieces is the key to dressing well on a budget, and it’s always fun to find something great when you least expect it!
