I wore this outfit over the weekend on a random Fall day when the temperature reached 75 degrees in Manhattan. Most of the day was spent running around town, including trying on bridesmaids dresses for my high school best friend’s wedding. We get to choose which dress we want to wear from a selection of about half a dozen, which is great, but makes it difficult when you really like two of them. Decisions, decisions!
This top is a great way to be comfortable and still stylish. The material is more like a sweatshirt, but the zipper detail and sparkles give it a dressier look. I was coveting scalloped shorts all summer, and finally found this affordable pair from Old Navy (yes, really). The loafers were another thing I admired for a while before making them my own. MIA posted a picture of these shoes on Instagram and I hearted it right away. I was so happy to find them on DSW’s website, and within my budget. They have a great subtle sparkle that I love, and they also come in several gorgeous jewel tones (the purple is calling my name!).
