For a long time, I used to think that I only could or should wear A-line dresses. It took me a while to get to the point where I would even try on a pencil skirt or something form-fitting. Although I’m in a much better place when it comes to self-image, I still hesitated when I saw this sweater dress in the store. I brought it to the dressing room and snapped a picture as part of a try-on I planned to post to my Instagram story. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I was pleasantly surprised with how well the ribbed knit hugged my curves. It’s a different look for me, and I’ve learned that this silhouette hides nothing. But, I felt great wearing it, and I think it looks pretty darn good! Who gets to decide what we can wear? I think we should decide for ourselves, how about you?
