Polka Dot Pants

We had our first 70 degree weekend day on Saturday, and Central Park was packed. My husband, the pup and I had brunch al fresco with some friends, and then the whole crew headed over to the park. We met up with my boss and his adorable daughter, who is about the same age as the pup. It was cuteness overload, and with the gorgeous weather, we were all smiles!

I recently did a closet cleanout and gave a bunch of stuff away. A wardrobe purge is definitely necessary when you change over between seasons, especially if you love to shop and constantly add things. If something doesn’t fit, or you haven’t worn it in a year, chances are it’s not worth keeping. There were a couple of things that I was sad to give up (I’m selling them on Poshmark!), but I also found some things that I forgot I had. Prime example: these polka dot pants, my favorite pattern in a vibrant color. Since they’re a relaxed fit, I paired them with a fitted peplum top which, coincidentally, has some subtle dots.  Spring has sprung!
