The other day, I was chatting with someone at work about how much Old Navy has stepped up their game recently. They’ve always been one of my go-tos for affordable wardrobe staples, but over the past couple of years, their designers have gotten much more creative. This plaid shirt dress and cardigan are both recent Old Navy finds, and I love them layered together. I wore this outfit to work earlier this week, but it would definitely work for Thanksgiving or a casual holiday party too. I can’t believe we’re already into November, and the holidays will be here before we know it.
But first, the weekend! We have a full slate of meals and activities with friends and family, and I have a feeling I’ll wish I had an extra day when Sunday comes around. But, I always try to remind myself that I’m lucky to have so many people I love and care about nearby, and I should be grateful for every happy moment I get to spend with them. That said, I’m still hoping I’ll find a few quiet moments to curl up with a good book! What are you up to this weekend?

I do a lot of my shopping at Old Navy because it’s the store closest to me, & I agree, they’ve had some great stuff lately. I bought a similar plaid shirtdress, albeit black & white & gold, from Target recently, too! It’s for Biennial, so you may see it IRL.
Yes. Target has been great lately too. Can’t wait to see what you wear in Boston!
