Plaid on Plaid

This weekend was a chilly one in New York City. My friend Leah and I had a shopping trip planned to Bloomingdales, and I had the hardest time deciding what to wear! When it’s super cold, sometimes you just want to stay in your pajamas all day. But, instead I went for warmth in a flannel shirt and wool skirt. Under the skirt, I wore leggings and tights + camp socks and boots. I was pretty warm, but once I took my coat off, I decided the hat wasn’t going anywhere!Speaking of hats, one of my style resolutions for the new year is to wear more of them. Bloomie’s helped me get started with a great selection of wool cloches and fedoras. I picked a fabulous emerald green cloche with a bow on the side, and I can’t wait to wear it!
