I love my (faux) leather skirt, but I wasn’t sure if I could pull off (faux) leather leggings. They hug every curve, and for pears, that’s not always a good thing. This pair, though, is flattering and comfortable. I opted for a longer top, layered with a plaid flannel shirt, to balance out the leather, and I love how it came together.
This is what I wore for a family Hanukkah party on Saturday. We did a White Elephant gift exchange, but I kind of didn’t follow the rules. You’re supposed to bring things from your home that you don’t want, but I just love buying presents so much that I picked up a couple of fun, new things from TJ Maxx. We had a lot of laughs, and everyone liked what they came away with, so it all worked out! My husband worked a crazy amount of hours last week, so I’m especially excited to have a couple of days off coming up. We don’t celebrate Christmas, but we’ll still be spending quality time with family and friends. That’s what the holidays are all about, right?
